LINCOLNTON COUNTRY CLUB INTIMIDATES NCDGA

20 golfers showed up for the second official tournament of the golf season at Lincoln Country Club on . We would like to welcome Harold Jesse and Mark Bivins from SCDGA as well as Steven Oliver from GDGA for participating in the tournament. The weather was just perfect for the golfers challenging the course.. Congratulations to Scott Skelton, Lynn Emmett, Billy Kanoy and Stephen Woodward for hosting a well-organized tournament.

Golfers competed in two flights, A and B. The golfers also had the option of playing from the blue or white tees. Some handicaps were different for the golfers depending on which tee one played from. “Flying hands” to our own President Chris McMahan for winning the NCDGA closest to the pin on the 17^th hole. Lynn Emmett won for the second straight time with a net score of 69, three strokes, ahead of Charles Crowe and Billy Kanoy who both had net scores of 72. Rookie Harold Jesse won the B flight with a net score of 72, three strokes better than Charles Dawkins. Here are the tournament results:
