Once again NCDGA golfers had another great turn out. Twenty-four golfers showed up to tackle the mountain course at Burnsville, NC. Some of us even got lost just trying to get to the golf course which is 6,684 feet above sea level. The course itself was in great shape and its slow greens made it tough to stay even par. Plus there were a few groups coming in later that caught up in a thunderstorm. Many of us were also in wow of the crystal clear mountain springs with plenty of rainbow trouts swimming by. Sorry, no fishing allowed!

As the day unraveled, Robert Ritch proved to be the man to beat. He shot a gross score of 74. Tim Hickman came in second place; as always a hard one to beat. For full details click on April event here.

NCDGA is having a "Get Together Fun Golf Outing" this June 15th. It will be held in Myrtle Beach at Arrowhead Country Club. For those who happen to be in the area or want to warm

up for the SEDGA tournament are welcome to

participate. Tee time will be 12:15 pm
